Onventis once again among the top 5 German software companies

Onventis has once again achieved a top ranking in the Main Software 50 Ranking 2025, coming in at number 4 among Germany’s leading software companies. With this ranking, Main Capital Partners recognizes companies that contribute to the digitalization of the German economy with their solutions. Main Capital Partners is considered one of the leading software investors in Germany, the Benelux countries, and Scandinavia.

The award is based on Onventis’ outstanding performance, which clearly sets it apart from other market participants. To this end, Main Capital analyzed several hundred software companies based on seven objective key figures: total revenue, revenue growth, share of recurring versus one-time revenue, cloud and SaaS revenue, EBITDA, international revenue, and revenue via partner channels. The results are reviewed and confirmed by the independent Fraunhofer Institute.

About Main Software 50 Germany
The Main Software 50 ranking has been conducted by Main Capital Partners in the Netherlands since 2012 and will be extended to Germany for the first time in 2022. The aim of the initiative is to highlight the importance and often underestimated social and economic influence of B2B software solutions. Over 100 entrepreneurs from the German software industry gathered at the Palais in Frankfurt for the award ceremony.
